To many, Doulos is a historic vessel. To Caleb and Joshua Bothello (South Korea) who have lived on Doulos for most of their lives, Doulos is home. Crewmember Young Song Jung (South Korea) explained to her five year-old twin boys, Caleb and Joshua, about how Doulos will no longer be able to sail. Caleb asked, Mom, is Doulos going to die just like Grandpa? After a motherly reply came about how God used the ship to share His love with people, but now the ship is just too old to keep sailing, Caleb asked, If Doulos dies, will the ship go to heaven? Joshua scolded his brother, God doesn't need Doulos in heaven! Joshua added, Yeah, Doulos cannot fly to heaven anyway!
